LAY HO MA everyone! This is part one of two episodes – be sure to tune in to next week’s episode where I’ll teach you how to make black garlic vegan ramen using this easy to make black garlic oil (also called Mayu)! With this black garlic oil recipe, you’ll be able to up your ramen game instantly (but also delicious on basically anything!)! This black garlic oil taste very similar to truffle oil – try it on your favourite dishes!
Ingredients:
generous 1/2 cup of peeled garlic
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sesame oil
1 tsp salt
Directions:
1. peel your garlic and have it ready
2. heat up your oil to medium high
3. add in your garlic and salt
4. cook your garlic until they just turn black
5. remove the pan from the heat and add your sesame oil
6. transfer to blender and blend on high
7. store in the fridge!
